Djibouti is located in Eastern Africa, surrounding the Gulf of Aden along with the Red Sea between Eritrea and Somalia. It lies on the Gulf on Tadjoura. Its a coastal area with great reefs, rickety atmosphere and for those who love diving and snorkeling; it’s the best destination to visit. The most exciting thing about Djibouti is that its capital city is located on a peninsular and it has a beautiful ambience that is more like that of France. The markets are standard with all the products sold and more in particular the local narcotic leaf khat that is imported from Ethiopia.Norcotic is more liked by people than khat

Travel Warning

By now, Djibout could be a settled country but a mere fact that it borders Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea; this has been a problem to the country with many immigrants. Fortunately the big population is Muslim, American as well as the French troop deployment.Torrorist attack is not common and the crime rate is low although people are hostile to each other. Homosexuality is forbidden.

/////////////////

The location of Congo has enjoyed an enormous natural heritage, Because of the beauty of the country; some land has been set aside for conservation. The parks include,Conkouati-Douli National Park,Odzala National Park,Lac Tele Community Reserve as well as Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park. These parks are protected and conserved well thus it may not be easy for anyone to just access them and that is the reason as why there are in a good shape. The scenic view of these parks enables you see and interact with the gorillas more so the lowland gorillas that are in a big number. This Country is such a great destination to visit because of its large population of chimpanzees as well as forest elephants that are in danger of extinction in other parts of Africa.

The lovers of game fishing, Congo is the country to visit, its one destination that can give one of the biggest Tiger Fish in the world with about 56 kilograms. Congo has beautiful fine beaches which is not the same for Central Africa. Besides the beaches, The Republic has a wonderful culture that you will enjoy.

Gorilla Safari in Congo, Gorilla Tours

Kinshasa is well known to be the capital and the largest city of the DRC. The cultures in this country makes a great destination with enormous names such as Soukous,Rumba,Wemba,Pepe Kalle along with the Kwasa Kwasa music styles. However, the country itself is complex but the most exciting thing is that there is lots of money in circulation that makes life better. The country has luxury hotels along with multinational restaurants that have attracted many tourists. We must accept that Congo is not well developed, the infrastructure is still poor. Although security is tight and the national parks are maintained. Among these include;Upemba National park,Salonga National Park,Okapi Nationla Park,Maiko National parks,Kahuzi-Biega National park,Virunga National parks as well as Garamba National park.

Congo is lowland country and this favors Gorilla safaris and tours. Although many of them are in danger of extinction and the few are only found in Maiko National park. In this park, forest Elephants and Chimpanzees are easily spotted out.Garamba National park is located in the northeast and its covered with savannah, woodland along with gallery forest that is a habitant for large populations of Congo elephants as well as White rhino.Parks such as Virunga National park,Kahuzi-Biega National park extend beyond the parc National des Volcans adjacent to Rwanda with about 700 mountain Gorillas.

Because of the luxuriate vegetation, Congo has an excellent climate with rain, heat and humidity. But to the highland regions in the east, the rain is less along with the Atlantic seaboard. Besides that, the other areas receive a favorable climate. A fairly dry season is usually in the months of June and September and it’s the best time for Visitors.

Congo is well equipped with security more so in the east as you travel. Self-governing travel is not allowed in the country, you must have an armed protection from a tour guide or any quarter.
For sure this country is such a safe travel destination, the crime rate in Kinshasa is low and the sharks also help to keep security tight. Terrorism is an heard of in DRC.

Health services in Kinshasa are poor and meager, therefore infectious diseases such as HIV/AID, Malaria, cholera, polio.Meningitis and monkey Pox are very common in the country.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is suited in Central Africa with a small length of Atlantic Coastline.DRC is taken to be the third largest country in Africa. And French is the official Language. The country has poor transportation with bad roads although the most exciting about this destination is the comprehensive organizations of Airports that include interior as well as external flight association. There are three important international airports that deal with home and national relations.DRC has other airports of about two hundred and other airstrips spread around the country. It’s acknowledged that air is the viable mode of transport and there are other domestic airlines operation and it’s the only way you can tour round DRC

The commonest international Airport is called N’Djili; it offers services to local, national as well as pan-African associations. Brussels Airlines from Brussels, South Africa Airways from Johannesburg, Air France from Paris along with Cameroon Airlines from Johannesburg.

DRC is famous for its four worldwide airports and these include Bangoka international Airport offering services to the middle town of Kisangani, Lubmubashi international Airport serving the southern provinces, Goma international Airport services the town as well as region of Goma in the south of the Country and N’Djili international Airport serving Kinshasa.

Eritrea Vacations, Eritrea Holidays

When to Visit Eritrea
There are no seasonal rushes in Eritrea that are likely to blight your journey, so all that need to be considered when planning a trip to the region is the local climate.
On the whole the desert regions to the west and south can register astronomical temperatures during the hellfire months of summer, and although seasonal variations in temperature are not great, between June and August rainfall within and to the west of the highlands is intense and sustained, and needless to say temperatures along the coastal plain are at their most infernal. The best time to make the journey is between October and March when winter conditions and limited rainfall are altogether more amenable.
Travel Warning
Sadly the general advice available is to avoid all non-essential travel to Eritrea, and although this is not the case necessarily with the capital city in terms of its unique attractions, this alone would hardly justify a journey to the region. Intense restrictions are in place for all travel outside Asmara, including for embassy and diplomatic staff and anywhere within the vicinity of an international frontier is a no-go area. Landmines in these areas are also a very real threat.
The border with Ethiopia is permanently sealed, and the border with Sudan is intermittently closed. A boundary dispute with Djibouti has rendered the southern border region insecure.

Street crime is rare in Eritrea, although an upward trend has been recorded.
Overt homosexual activity is unlikely to be viewed positively anywhere in Eritrea, and modest dress for both women and men is advisable.
Travel To & Within Eritrea
• Flights to Eritrea
• Accommodation in Eritrea

Angola Vacations, Angola Holidays Guide

After the civil war, Angola is trying to reconstruct its self and with this recently embarked development force of rebuilding, there is some hope that Angola will shine once again. With the advancement in infrastructure, transport network as well as improved security conditions, Angola is ready to welcome Tourist to the country. Because of what it went through, its may not be like the other African countries such as Zambia, Botswana or South Africa in Tourism. Angola as the destination has its own beautiful attractions that will actually give you a memorable experience. The roads are nice that will take you to the Chimpanzee habitat of Congo rainforest in the north, to the central highlands along with the arid gravel plains of the south that offers a lot to see. Angola favors a vacation with the family members.

.
When to Visit Angola

Whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, it’s always important to first get more information about Angola vacations and holidays. The travel industry of Angola doesn’t worry anyone apart from the climatic changes that may a problem. The location of the country is in the summer rainfall Zone and months such as November to mid March are usually humid, wet and hot more common on the coast and the northern part of the country. The winter period is the best for travel and some diseases are fewer around this time.

Travel Warning

The crime rate in Angola is high in particular Luanda. Violet crimes are a major fact which you are not advised to walk in dark places at night, Unlawful settlement ought to be avoided. Be careful of landmines because Angola is known to be a soft spot, don’t pay attention to things such as a circle of stones, trust tape and many others. It’s better to carry your own medication because Angola is a malaria zone and other diseases such as cholera. Tour operator must guide you through an overland travel to be a safe side.

Angola is yet to develop into the best reserved clandestine on the African travel course. It is budding from some 40 years of intense civil conflict, as an outcome of which the bodily surroundings of the state exists in a sensible state of conservation. The smallest amount that can be said of African fighting is that it for the time being holds in abeyance that most unhelpful of native fraternities: the ever hard-working African woman armed with a knife and a box of matches.

However the region has excited the interest of various global and in particular South African conservation lobbies and foundations. While the wildlife itself might be largely absent from the ground, the ground itself remains, and one can hope and expect that over the next 20 years or so considerable effort will be made by the global conservation community to restock and rehabilitate this most wonderful of natural African environments.
In the meanwhile a sort of primordial fog hangs over the nation. With the social, and in particular the educational infrastructure in the countryside in ruins, there is an innocence of the outside world that for a brief moment in time offers intrepid travellers the opportunity to be among the first to see it. Of course the coastal cities like the capital Luanda, dizzy with the infusion of oil money, are as grubby, licentious and deceitful as any other of the metropolis’ of the region, but that is a good thing. With the ubiquitous Latino imprint those years of Portuguese domination has left behind, there are good times to be had in such places if the most basic of precautions are applied.
The same, miserably, cannot be said for the nation’s wildlife, which in a state of war falls victim like a domino train to the mass proliferation of automatic weapons. Prior to the rapid acceleration of fighting after the Portuguese collapse in the mid 1970s Angola was one of those Eden like realms of Africa where the diversity and numbers of big game harked back to a time now lost to all of us. Eleven national parks currently exist in the country, all placed under state protection during the period of Portuguese rule, and all now to a greater or lesser extent dysfunctional as wildlife conservancies.

Angola ‘s international Airport known as Quatro de Fevereiro Airport often has programmed flights from major Europe to other regional capitals. This Airport is located in the capital city of Luanda. It also has other small home based airports in different parts of the country.

There are many international carriers that operate direct routes in and out of Quatro de Fevereiro thus linking with other several international capitals. Among these include Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Brussels Airlines from Brussels, France from Paris, Aeroflot from Moscow via Jeddah and British Airways from London.TAAG usually offers trans-continental flights and these are Libson,Rio de Janeiro and at times Paris.

The best connection of your travel can be achieved from Luanda and for your own information; internal travel is done by air. The country also has the local Airlines although maintenance is the problem. The UN personnel in Angola are advised to use Son air along with Gemini for both internal and home travel.Unfortunately, Angolan national wide carrier TAAG is currently banned from the European Union due to their poor standards of maintenance. All this come from an incidence of an air crush in northern Angola and that was in 2007 further more it Linked a TAAG flight that actually killed 5 people and still injured 66.

Angola is suited on the Western Atlantic Coast of Southern Africa, and it’s acknowledged to be the seventh biggest country in Africa. It occupies an area larger than France along with Spain joined together. The geography of Angola is diverse with hills, large plateau and mountains.
Luanda known to be the largest capital city of Angola and its located on Angola’s coast with the Atlantic Ocean. This town acts as a seaport and an administrative centre with so many travelers such as business men, diplomats, journalists who frequent the place.

The only problem with this city is that they luck luxury hotels and the few that are there are very local and they can’t stand the taste of everyone.Acommodation tends to be difficult outside the capital city. The important guests that visit the country such as Expatriates and ambassadors are carted for with in house arrangements. Therefore this may not be the best for travelers on business.

Other small towns may have hotels but don’t reach the standards of the people. It’s always better to first consider where the local Expatriates stay and that’s where you may also stay. Besides that, they have the best cuisine that is of high standards. Since accommodation in Luanda is scarce, Advance booking will be of your own advantage. Luanda experienced a civil war that made them lag behind in terms of infrastructure

Why Travel To Benin

Benin is one of a handful of slivers squeezed in along the West Africa coast to satisfy the jostling for territory that occurred between the major European powers during the 19th century. Like many of the great dynasties and local regions of power at that time, Benin’s fortunes were not advanced much by European intrusion, and of course the tremendous sophistication of its history and culture was virtually destroyed by the trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
Prior to independence from France in 1958 the territory was known as Dahomey, which was probably more reflective of its ancient history than its current name taken from the adjacent Bight of Benin. Once known as the Black Sparta by early European explorers, the region was identified as a highly sophisticated political and social center. The remnants of this are evident in a diversity of art, music, masks and sculpture that betray evidence of past greatness and accomplishment not commonly attributed to Africa.
Culturally Benin remains extraordinarily diverse, with the population divided unevenly between a Christian majority and a Muslim minority, overlaid by an intermingling of traditional worship and custom. The latter is defined mainly by the organized animist/monotheistic religion of Vodun, a precursor to Voodoo, thought to have been exported to the Caribbean by the slave trade from this particular region of West Africa.

Benin is actually a small country but promising to gain its famous through foreign travel and holidays in Benin as well as adventure enthusiasts. Culture is very vital in this country with different languages along with ethnic groups as it is in West Africa. The difference in these cultures has made the country a beautiful place to stay with a diversity of music, dance and art. Besides the traditional, they have hip hop, reggae as well as local folks that remind people of the ancient times.

In the northern part of Benin, there are two national major nature conservancies that form the backborne of Benin tours and travel. Benin is surrounded in the northeast by the Niger River and still collaborates with the bigger Airli-W-Singou complex to have conservancies that enclose the national of the Niger River that conforms to a W shaped series of bends. The area is taken to be the most vital conservation region in West Africa along with the two crucial parks of Benin such as Pendjari National park in addition to W national park, these parks settle so many wildlife species although the birdlife specie is the most common because of the coast of Benin along with the sandy beaches that easily attract the species.

When to Visit Benin: Benin Holidays and Vacations

The Benin climate is quite not easy to predict because it varies from the north to south. The southern part of the country usually enjoys the tropical climate of the West African coast where as the northern part receives nothing because the area is a Sahel, dry and an arid area. Benin has two seasons thus wet and dry and the worst months are April, July, September to October. The hottest months are between February and April of which the temperatures tend to rise to 40 C.The Harmattan winds are between December and March and this is the best time to visit Benin

Travel Warning

The terrorism act is at a low rate in Benin although the crime rate is so high, there are places in Benin that are worth avoiding more in particular highways, other crimes include mugging, robbery, muder and other violent crimes. It’s always better to take caution each time you think of moving at night. People who love swimming must be careful because the rate of people who drown in the ocean is high. Besides all that, Benin is such a great destination that is trying to boost its tourism industry so as to be recognized by other Countries.

Cadjehoun International Airport is suited in Cotonou the largest city in Benin in West Africa, in 2007 it carried about 300,000 passengers and since then its only international airport in the country.Cadjehoun offers favorable services and it’s the only inter-continental flight from Air France to Paris. It has a complete network of national as well as Pan-African flights that link Benin with the rest of the continent. Besides that, there are other vital links such as Kenya Airways from Nairobi, Virgin Nigeria from Lagos, Air Senegal international from Dakar, Air Lviore from Abidjan along with Inter air South Africa from Johannesburg. With enough consultation, you can get cheap flights.
